I think communication skills should be one as you woulf need to interact effectively with your clients.
I think a consultant has to know everything about each field ?

Because you can't consult for all areas. You need to be skillful in one
Consulting for all areas will require a large skills which is almost impossible to acquire.
Technically consultants are in various niches or areas and it woukd not be all that easy to state everything however there are some fileds that have siliarity in for every consultant or coarch.These include the following:
- They should be Creative thinking.
- They should be Thinking conceptually and practically.
- They should have the Problem-solving ability.
- They should Communicating clearly and empathetically.
- They should Collaborate with all job levels.
- They should be Organized and have time management.
- Thay should have a Curiosity.
- They should be Credible.

exactly my thought, I've been thinking a good consultant should be patient enough while handling their clients.
Exactly, cause as a consultant you would definitely deal with different people who have different characters and the likes, you would definitely need patience to handle them.
I can feel you on that, many people have attitudes that are generally unacceptable and annoying.
I am currently working as a photo editor, and I must say majority of the time I have to deal with photographers and frame vendors, there are times where all you can think of is beating them, cause they can be extremely annoying.
I can relate with that, I've once helped my mum attend to her customers back then and I can tell how annoying they can be
