Upwork Taxing Indian Users Unnecessarily

I was planning to try Upwork from some time as I have seen very good reviews on Instagram and on reels so I thought to give it a try but it's not an easy website to earn and they want Indian users to upload their Pan card and to get tax deducted at source and have many weird requirements for freelancers.

I was planning to try Upwork from some time as I have seen very good reviews on Instagram and on reels so I thought to give it a try but it's not an easy website to earn and they want Indian users to upload their Pan card and to get tax deducted at source and have many weird requirements for freelancers.

Though i do not know about the tax part, i am hearing about this for the first time but what i do know is that i have not been able to get any clients there, i am not stable there but the few times i have tried, it didn't really go as planned.

I think it's not easy look at the competition and I saw that bidding thing and then you can upgrade too to get more chances of landing more jobs but I dislike the tax
