Its takes a while for you to get your first appocation approval from a client. I remember it took me a while month to get mine. And to get it I had to try different jobs. We can only earn from these websites if we have some skills like we are good at video editing or video creation, graphics etc so otherwise it won't work

Because I work on a lot of sites I prefer to use Upwork for accounting short gigs and typing. So far I am happy with it.

Normally people trust workers who already have feedback from other clients. So breaking in as a newbie on Upwork is not easy at all but since I knew this i did not give up. I also attended an online seminor from Upwork that taught me how to apply for work. I applied everyday, twice. Aday till I got one gig. At first I wanted to apply using my accounting skills. Then I decided to apply for both accounting skills and typing. By typing I mean typing pdf documents to word. Accounting I do reconciliations, invoicing and offer some advice here and there.

I checked Upwork once but when I felt confused and left the idea but do you earn a fixed amount every month from it?

No. Every gig has different amounts.there are a lot of gigs there. You set your own target on how much you want to make.

I agree that it is not easy to find a suitable job on this site. I have an account but never dared to find a job here.

It seems it's a lot easier to get jobs on Upwork than Fiverr. These days I have been hearing more about Upwork than Fiverr.

Yeah Upwork is a legit gig paying site you can make Mindy of you handle some jobs requested by the site.

I joined the website when they were previously called odesk. Then I received message to work but I was late. Since then I have not received any message. So I think nit everyone can earn there.

I have been hearing about the freelancing site but I don't like doing freelancing jobs. Because of my time and schedule, I can't cope with freelancing jobs.
