You can save money using staycation this Xmas. Don't waste your money travelling for sight seeing in another town , city or county but do this within your neighborhood

Take a tour of your nearby environment daily and take in all the fun you can in your environment for free.

This Christmas vacation I am planning to do the same. My vacation started yesterday and I have to go back to work on 2 Jan 23. So, I have almost ten days. We have planned to stay home, relaxed, maybe finish a few pending chores around the house, do online sites that I don't have enough time during working days, watch some good movies...a lazy relaxed vacation is the most ideal one.
We didn't plan it for saving money. It just happened that my daughters has not much days of leave . My husband and I didn't want to get exhausted with travel this time. So, we cancelled our vacation plan and chose to be home bound relaxing and catching up with the rest. We plan to go for trekking on two days to a nearby trekking trail.
And it did save us some money.

Yes, staycation helps to save money. But I have a plan to visit my friend who has emigrated to Taiwan. The airfare is not expensive, and I can stay at her house.

I don't even go out during the festive period. I always prefer staying indoors watching a good movie and eating while I watch.

That was a good thought you would save yourself a whole when you stay in your friend house it might even be safer there.

I also the same thing. I usually tour around my city, especially those places that I have not been to.

I don't need to travel for Xmas. Most of my family and extended family members stay in the same state that I reside.

We do not travel out of town during the Christmas season. I usually just visit my parents and my mom's side of the family. The house of my aunt is only 30 to 45 minutes away from my parents' house.
