I don't think it should be allowed because it may later reduce engagements in the website if they find other platforms.

I would disagree there. Forum Coin has been going strong for years despite being a launch pad for so many new sites. The site in fact encourages such promotions. It benefits the site as well as the users there who come looking forward to more earning opportunities. Forum Coin has not lost any of its trusted users for that.
