I think it is a great way to learn how to budget, and negotiate for various different things. Playing this game smartly with business sense, is in my mind, a good way to see if you have the skills to work your way into a situation that could be great for you.

I agree. Part of the reason why I know some people hate it, is that they have issues trying to figure out how to play and handle money at the same time. Not many people like the fact that you need to haggle to get stuff you want to use to advance yourself in the game.

I have never played the game before, this is my first time of hearing about the game before, would definitely try it out someday.

I have played monopoly so many times over the years but it was never a game I could fully get into and really enjoy. I do like the fact that my kids enjoy it though and have taken a liking to it as it has helped them a lot in terms of money and investing and things like that and they understand it more just from playing monopoly.
