Webhosting company not installing softaculous

A webhosting company had promised that softaculous was included with the webhosting. After I purchased the webhosting account , I find that the license is not renewed. I have raised the support ticket, and though they have promised installation within 36 hours, softaculous is not installed after more than one week. They are ignoring all requests. What is the best option to get them install the softaculous?

Why you should wait on softaculus when you can install each of script manualy? Example Download Wordpress, using FTP transfer files on server, fill config file with required data and install it.

FTP transfer of the files will take a long time,. The wordpress file size for the latest version is approximately 77 MB and uploading the files will take more time with a slow internet connection.

Do they use cPanel?

Use the built in file explorer, upload the zip file. It's much faster than uploading stuff via FTP. Then you an use the file explorer to unzip the package.

I always had problems with this method. From some reasons font files don't extract. Later I have to upload it manualy. In online uploader send error to. I guess extension names are problem. Here is list of such files.

Interesting. I havn't had this issue. What kind of Control panel are you using for the uploads?

Not sure for that but in Cpanel is Monstaftp uploader.

Since it cause me problems I use more often FTP upload trough Notepad++. There is plugin NppFTP where you can save upload login credentials for multipe accounts.

If you're creating a WordPress blog, you don't need to wait for softaculous. If you have cpanel, you can use it to install and setup your WordPress website or forum supported on cpanel. I used cpanel and it's not difficult.

That's why you need to choose a reliable web hosting company. If you go with a random company, you will be cheated like this. If they are not giving you access to softaculous, you are on your own

I honestly do not know what a softaculous mean and i do not know the best way to get them to install the softaculous. I guess the web hosting company you used was not reliable enough and that is why this happened.
