Many of the websites like Upwork require members to provide their personal information which some people may not be interested in providing since the data can be misused. Do you know of any money making website which does not require personal information?

Most survey sites ask for information such as gender, date of birth, and sometimes address. There are a few which just ask for email address.
The same reason Binance does strict KYC for it's users. Anything that has to do with money has to have some level of identity management in case fraud occurs in there. RIF here is very liberal.
I like any websites that does not require my personal information except when it is a survey website because they always make use of the personal information to know if you are qualified for the survey
I find it risky to share personal information with survey sites. These sites are basically collecting information for marketing purpose and they will be selling your information.
Everything has it's advantage and as well disadvantages. Though i get your point here, if anything should happen to their data, it means the wrong persons can easily have access to your information. On the other hand, they ask for this information so they can create more security.
Same here. I do not like websites which require my personal information. I find it too dangerous. I prefer to stay away from such websites.
Some websites do ask for personal information, but the decision to provide it is completely up to you.
