There are so many terms that are used in affiliate marketing and the most common one is affiliate. Affiliate is an individual that offer to promote product or services of the company and it will be in exchange for commission.

Merchant is a company or any individual that owns the product or services that are being promoted by the affiliate.

Commission means that the compensation that is given to the affiliate for their premotional campaign like generating sales, leads after some favourable action have been taken.

Affiliate marketing is basically CPA marketing where the affiliate company will be paying affiliate marketers with per sales mode. CPA stands for cost per action, which means the company will be paying for every action (purchase)
