What do you do for a loyal customer that their credit worthiness is in doubt but still insist for a credit?

In such a case, if it is something i am okay with loosing, like if the money is what i can afford to loose, then i can give them the benefits of a doubt

it might not look good to give credits, but since the customer is a loyal then it's alright to give credit and believe that the person will do the needful soon

When a loyal customers creditworthiness is in doubt its important to assess the risk and decide if offering credit is worth it you could offer a payment plan or ask for collateral to mitigate the risk.

That depends on the amount of money involved. If it is small money, I would proceed with the sale on credit because s(he) is my loyal customer. However, if that sale involves big money, I may request him/her to pay for some deposit first.

I believe it depends on the situation of the customer like someone have stated. if it is not a critical situation I may not be able to give them on credit again because of the bad record of their credit worthiness.

If a loyal customer requests a credit despite having an uncertain credit standing, I will carefully assess the situation to know the proper course of action. If the requested amount is not that big, I am quite open to approving the credit application.
