There are some businesses that'll always be traditional. Just like street retail stores and some skills set. However they can also come online to make others aware.

I think that combining both the methods is the key to increase your sales. You must not depend only on one method alone in order to generate sales.

Yes stores like Walmart. It's a good idea to combine both because they work hand in hand. Your online platform caters to those not in your vicinity.

Some of them are combining these two options these days. Even I, if have the shop offline, I can still have the option of doing it online. The more options, the more ways to gain profit for the business.

There is nothing wrong in combining both methods, the most important thing is knowing your target audience. If you can get or reach out to your target audience through this methods then go ahead.

When you combine both, you are essentially creating two markets for your products. This alone can boost sales. I always say that every offline business should have an online component and vice versa.

When you combine both online and offline services in your retail shop, it would boost your market. As not all your customers could get access to you through internet. Some would prefer physical patronage for him to be able to assess his stocks. Similarly, those that are busy or living in distance could also be able to patronize through internet.
