It depends on how well connected a person is. In some small towns , politicians and officials are very corrupt, criminal trespassing is rampant especially of neighbours, and government agencies are supporting property grabbing.

I don't know why they are always corrupt people in power you need to stand firm or else your property will be grabbed from you.

If you have lots of extra money lying in your bank, you can consider buying a house and renting it out to earn extra income. It pays more than banks interest, definitely.

In my opinion, investing in real estate is great but you need capital for this investment.
