Many CEOs refer to themselves as the company's devil's advocate. The term is used to describe someone who deliberately disagrees, even and especially if their remark is not their genuine opinion, in order to provoke discussion and critical analysis of an issue. A devil's advocate can be useful in pointing out faulty assumptions, incorrect logic, and other weak aspects.

While it may seem cruel of them, it usually is one of the characteristics of a good CEO whose company has survived for long. People can become lax and even take advantage of your business if given the opportunity.

Most CEO are macheviellin materialistic and exploitative. They are always thinking on how to make profit without giving consideration to the human resources that is generating the profits.

This is absolutely nothing but the pure truth, some employees can take advantage of one's humility or quietness, so doing so by the CEO would always keep them in check, even when they are right, the CEO still needs to disagree, else they will not be taking him serious.

I don't really have a strong impression one way or the other. I've heard good things and bad things, but overall they seem to be doing their best to steer the company in the right direction.

There are good and bad CEOs. I think one can judge a CEO by checking if the company is making good profit, have happy customers and employees, and if the company is making any contribution to the community.

Some CEOs are very simple in nature. There is one CEO I know. He is so down to earth. You would never know he is a CEO at first glance because of the way he would approach you.

But I don't think a CEO should be too weak you know that they are some humans that can be very stubborn so you just have to be strict a bit to get things going.

Yesh they need to be simple but in a firm way , they need to have good abilities. Have , the capacity to think strategically and problem-solve almost everything within the company

I liked the kind of connotations you used for CEO. There is nothing to disagree with your statement. A lot of CEO presents themselves as everything in the company. A business is a collective tea,m effort, eve the peon has importance.
