What is a good investment?

A good investment is one which you'll want to make profit from (weather long term or short term investment). What do you think makes up a good investment?

I believe that good investment is one that you have actually plan out and you would be able to even see it being fruitful before you get to reaping off the investment

There is no such thing as a good investment. All investments are under market risk. You might think investing in tesla or Amazon can be really good but even the stocks of these companies lose market value/

A good investment is one which gives you a good return on you investment. I invest in stocks. I hope the value of the stock appreciates and I receive dividends from the companies on a regular basis.

I believe a good investment is one that would generate profits double what you invested in before in the first place. A good investment is also one that can generate passive income as well.
