I sell on marketplaces, I've been doing this since 2021, until now on several marketplaces. I often advertise on each existing marketplace. But I feel that it's not very effective to advertise there, often the advertising costs are wasteful but the sales are not that many. What do you think is an effective way to promote products sold on the marketplace?

Well, that's not easy, one of the challenges for online sellers like me is to find products that are unique and in great demand. Because on average there is a lot of competition in the marketplace, sometimes they charge unreasonable prices far below the capital price. Makes us wonder how they could implement such a system.

To promoting ads on TV or radio is less effective for a small business like ours, because it's bound to be very well paid. Providing free samples may still be applicable.
