In the crypto world, dusting attacks are often interpreted as a mode of stealing information/data in wallets by giving small amounts of free crypto, usually through airdrops. So that the fraudster can track the stored crypto balance and all activities/transactions in the victim's wallet at an advanced level is crypto theft. After reading this thread, free crypto seekers should always be aware of the airdrop we are about to receive, whether it is valid or just a scam. In addition, we must implement several strategies to resist dusting attacks.

Make separated wallet for free airdropes. If you get hacked you will not lose any of your money. What you lose you got for free so there will no be damage.

I don't engage in most airdrops because of this. Most people don't even use the same computers to access their different wallets to avoid this complications.

I usually avoid airdrops because I had heard a lot of scams from these airdrops and if you are going to participate in one, the best thing you can do is to create another wallet to receive the airdrop to not put in risk your main wallet

Your method is very precise, you use a separate wallet and it's better from a separate device like a different smart phone, so it's not too risky when claiming the water drop once it's considered safe, you can transfer it to another wallet.

The experience of other people, makes us to be careful, if we are going to claim an airdrop, especially from an unofficial site, if in doubt, it's better to leave an airdrop that only accepts small free crypto gifts, than we will lose a larger balance.

Never heard of the term Dusting Attack. Thankfully I do not participate on any airdrops, therefore, I might be safe from Dusting Attacks. I never profitted from any kind of Airdrops, therefore, I no longer participate in airdrops

Over time, it seems dusting attacks have reduced and have been replaced by other means of scamming users, like the popular WhatsApp support method.
