Making money at a young age is a very good thing. It builds in you a sense of responsibility. I started earning money early though. I was always embarrassed of asking my parents for money.

But nowadays I don't see kids taking studies seriously they want to earn soon. My kids don't show interest in studies, they think education is not the only criterion to be a successful person in life.

studying hard is not bad in my own perspective because it will help to shape your future. What you have to understand is that times change and eras also change. What works then may not be what works now.
