What is the age when one should be asked to start earning?

In my opinion, it is always about the kind of living that determines at what age does one should start earning. If you were born with a rich parents, then I think , you can starts earning maybe after graduating from school. But if you were not born with a rich parents, mostly children are oblige to make their own income for a living. And that is a case anywhere in the world.

If they start making money at a young age, don't stop them. Just make sure that you are monitoring to make sure they are not out of line.

It depends on how you train that child. If you help that child strike a balance between work and school, the child would understand why one can't be sacrificed for the other.

A child that is exposed to making money early would achieve financial independence faster. I started delivering newspapers at age eight and I achieved independence before I turned 17.
