That is so expensive $25 1 litter. Are there many goats there in India or in your city? I cannot find a goat here in my location. I mostly find cows, pigs, chickens, cats, and dogs, no goats. I am wondering about the nutrients goat milk contains. I heard from my neighbor when I was a child that after his wife's delivery, he will cook goat meat because it's good for it helps produce mom's milk for her infant.
I also heard the same, goats meat are nutritious. Their basis is a goat only eats herbs. Goat knows the medicinal grass they only eat which is why its meat and milk are nutritious, thus price high.
You're right the meat is also nutritious even though it's expensive people still demands it very much even some people learn the way of herbs from goats.I think the reason why goats are rarely miked was because they are always pregnant ( I noticed the she goats in my location are always pregnant even if they just put to bed)
How nice if there are goats here to ask about its cost. I want to raise 1 male and 1 female goat. I have not tasted goat's meat but many said it's delicious and others said they do not like the smell. Maybe it's the foods the goat eats that make its meat odor different .
Goat meat do have a different scent compare to others meats(cow, pork...)but it's more dominant in male goat's meats, hegoats naturally smells a lot this should be their reproductive organs always active to attract female goat, even when cooked it still smells but it's not a bad odour.
Yeah we hardly think about goat milk like cow milk . It is expensive anyway but I still do prefer cow milk to host milk.
Thanks for the info. I haven't smelled and tasted goat meat food. So far many said it's the best meat for a mom breastfeeding her baby for it produces more milk.
I don't know about that medical fact , it could be true because the meat is more rich with medicinal herbs which can also assist breastfeeding mothers while feeding there kids in one way or the other.
