What is the significance of the snowflakes that appear on my profile? Do they give any special meaning to my status or anything else?

I had the same query..I have asked it on some other thread. It does feel good to receive them. I am sure that it must be some sort of reward and recognition. But not sure if it has some benefits or can that be monetized.

I am seeking the same answer. What I have made out so far is that it cannot be monetized to get the cash out. But seems like we can use it for shopping here. I am still to explore on that part and I am not yet fully confirmed about that.
