I have several ways to relax myself. Listening to music, playing musical instruments, watching a movie or interesting videos on YouTube, read a book or go out for a walk.
My go-to relaxation method is practicing mindfulness meditation. Taking time to focus just on my breathing and bringing awareness to the present moment allows me to quiet my busy mind. Meditation helps me release stress, anxiety and negative thought patterns. After even a brief 10-minute guided meditation session, I feel refreshed and at ease.
Sitting in my favourite corner and getting some me time, reminiscing happy memories - be it travel, about parties I throw, my success as a gardener, my success as a photogorapher - the works.
