What menial job have you done for money?

That's very interesting. I do pay for babysitting too, to my mom.

I did laundry and dry-cleaning as a student to make money. I have also done work on the farm.

I have engaged in selling things to make money because I needed the money badly at that time.

Things were very hard and I went to carry blocks on a building site. I was being paid NGN2,000 on average a day.

By the third day, I had broken down and I was hospitalized.

I thought 'menial job' means a boring job. The first job that I did is a service crew in a fastfood chain before. It was my dream to work as a part-time job during my university days. Before I applied to work as my profession after graduation, I worked as a service crew for 6 months only.

For me i think my first one was working as a personal assistant to a lecturer back then in school. Though it was not really an official job but i got some extra cash from that.

It seems I am lucky because I have not done any menial job for money so far. Many people do these kinds of jobs to earn some extra money.

I have worked on a construction site because I had an impromptu field trip to go for outside the country. I worked at tye site for three days to raise money for that trip. I carried blocks, mixed cement and other construction activities.

I've done series of manial jobs to make money before and I think it is necessary to be hard working.

There is that one point in a person's life that happens to test your character. That point where you are completely broke and there are needs piling up for you to meet. What would you do? When I was there, I had to do the noble thing by taking menial jobs.
