What percentage of first meetings between a seller and a buyer result in sales?

There are many reasons why it did not work out. One thing is for sure, both parties are not familiar to each other. They need more time to know each other to make business together.

The percentage of first meeting between the buyer and the seller that yields positive results are always very small simply because such meetings have not been grounded and there is no trust yet.

A client like me, no matter how I need a thing, I have to be convinced before I buy. I always believe there are better deals elsewhere. I am not an impulsive buyer. I love to take my time.
If the product is what the client or the customer needs at the moment then it is going to be a positive result.

I do not really see this to be the case though, i believe the communication and marketing skills of the seller also plays a major role. There are persons who make you feel extremely comfortable even on your first interaction.

If the seller has a convincing power despite first meeting then there is no reason why having zero sales. Also transact buyers who can afford. Give preliminary pricing before the meeting to avoid wasted time and effort.
