One of the best strategies is to present your proposal in such a way that upset your opponent by letting them see that there are other organizations that is interested in what your company is asking for. That you have many proposals already. Let them see you are actually doing a favour for them.

Lobbying is part of the business cycle. You have to be sensitive to know if you need to lobby . There are proposals you need to lobby for and ones you need to allow merit decide.

I think the best thing to do is to know who you are about working with, with this you can easily know what they want and what to add on the business proposal to attract them.

Even when your proposal is through, you still would have to lobby to get that proposal to work in your favor. Meet with people you think have a say in the process. I am not saying you should go bribe them. Just try to be in their good books and your proposal would always have a look in.

When presenting a business proposal, make sure to project unambiguously the specific strengths you have over other competing businesses. Try and focus on the social benefite of your proposal. You give yourself a huge boost with these strategies.

I would demonstrate that I have sufficient knowledge of that line of business. I would also dwell on the benefits the potential investor stands to gain from the business.

Submitting proposal has becoming herculean tasks which has caused lots of nightmare when it comes to approval and recommendations. There are no length people don't go to ensure their proposal are accepted. Monetary grants are always introduced just to ensure that the proposals are not rejected. The officials at the issuers end are deeply enmeshed in corruption. They go for the highest bidders.

If a person uses me monetary inducements to try and get a proposal accepted, he or she runs a risk of his funds being wasted because only one proposal would be chosen at the endi off the day.

Manipulation of the business proposal could have an adverse effect on the overall productivity of such business.

There is no way for you to be able to get a client to the table if they find out that you're trying to be manipulative in negotiating business terms

You have a point that it is not easy to ask for an approval from conservative bosses. I do believe if the business proposal has the essential substances, then the higher-ups can approve it.
