A seminar will bring the team members to know their tasks and how their role affects other team members. A seminar will give all the team easy access to communicate effectively with one another. A seminar will also help them to understand the importance of inter relationships between every department.
It is a great idea, when team members meet each other and build friendship, this will make them work better.
Sounds fun and your team knowing one another would be a great way to create the best results in terms of working as a team. You can setup a project where everyone has to work together to gather the needed information then fix a date where the project can be presented with dinner by the side.
The company could organise a business party for the employees at least to unwind for a while.
