I’ve seen so many cases where people complain that their spouses do not support career and I’m sure they must have a reason for that but if you are in that situation and you really love your career so much, what would you do?

If my spouse didn't support my career, I would have an honest conversation with them to understand their concerns and share why my work is important to me. I'd try to find compromises and ways we could both feel fulfilled.

That's why open communication is very important before people get to marry. Let your spouse completely know your career before you marry. If they don't support, they can bounce.

I would continue to pursue my career but would have an open and sincere discussion with my partner. I would try to find out her concerns.
What if your partner does not understand your point? You know it may happen like that? What will you do by then? Will you break up?

It would be a tough situation. I would try to make my spouse understand the things. Surely, she will , when I am the sole earner of the family.

Breaking up is the worst scenario. Whether I would change my job depends on the opportunity costs. If she really insists, I may compromise because family is my top priority.

One thing I learned from what you said is setting our priorities right and yours is family first
It’s good that way too
