What your views on taking advice from pastors

Some people always consult with their pastors before taking any decision. What do you think of this sct? do you do this?

No, I never did this consulting with a pastor or a priest, but I think, it relieves the aching heart if consult any of them. I seek advice to my elder brother .

What i have learnt over time is that you just need to identify one such a person or people who have the technical skills tailored for what you require or what will meet your needs.If your Pastor is that such a person then there is no problem but in most cases Pastors are not really designed to offer more than spiritual guidance.You need certain technical skills to implement some situations that one may be facing from various experts.

We just need deep thinking in resolving a conflict. It's better to solve it alone because it's us who know about what bothers our lives.

Glad we are on the same page on this and more especially in the african circle we value too much advice from pastors as oppossed to the right people who can get us out of the mess we may be in.

It depends on the problem. When about family matters, I ask advices from my elders.
