Which software do you use to design a logo or poster?

There are different opinions. Some people use Photoshop to design a logo, but some believe that Photoshop is for photo editing and you should use adobe illustrator to design a logo. Which software do you use? I try not to be strict and think that anyone who is comfortable with any program can design a logo, although logos designed with adobe illustrator are much better quality.

Canvas seems to be okay than Adobe illustrator. Canvas has all the wonderful features that makes designing funny and inspiring. I use canvas app to design some ads and social media posts. Canvas is very light and can work perfectly on any smartphone.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Honestly, I only use Adobe programs and I haven't used this software yet, but I researched about it and I would like to try it.

Why people majorly talk about this app on this thread is because the app is a mobile app. And it gives the features and quality of a desktop app.

Last time when I did something like that I did in GIMP. It is free alternative for Photoshop. For online tools I use Canva. Also free tool but it has great options. In premium version it is even more of it.

The premium version of canva is very effective. I heard that with canva, you don't really need prior graphic design skills.

It have many templates for different things like logo, flyers, posters. With just basic knowledge you can design good things. It more about having idea what you want. That is at least hardest part for me.

I am not very familiar with all of these so I do not make use of it.

Yes that's right. It can be interesting. I thought it was a software for Windows. I must try it to see if it is of good quality or not

I have only use the free version of canva but I have not tried the premium version

The premium version of canva has more advanced features than the free version. It has advanced pre defined templates that you just need to choose and your design is set..

I use canva atm since I can't install adobe photoshop in my chromebook

When it comes to designing a logo or a poster, I have been known to use GIMP in the past until I heard about Canva and then I started using that to make them and found I could do so much more with Canva compared to what I was doing with GIMP and now I use that as much as I can.

Even though I have Photoshop skills, I no longer use photoshop to create logos and posters. It takes a lot of time to design on photoshop, I find canva better because I can start form available template.

True Photoshop is actually ment for photo editing but i also use Photoshop for my edits and i feel it is even easier to make use of Photoshop than others.

I usually use PixelLab to make logos or posters, but I'm not an expert in design. But I can make a decent design for myself to use in my marketplace store.

There are many options, but the ones I like the most or the ones I have used the most are Photoshop, and also Canva, which is another very good option and is free, If you want to broaden your horizons within Canva, you can purchase the pro version.
