I see so many people who had been agents for bet companies transferring their ownership to other people. What could be the cause? Is it that owning a bet shop is no loner profitable?

It could be a sign that merging will be the last option. However, it is not a good sign that the company is profitable. Perhaps they are experiencing legal issues.

It is not that the businesses are not profitable at all but the ways some of these shops are run are not profitable. Some owners employed incapable attendants to manage the shops.

I think those people already have other businesses that they are engaging in because bet business is always profitable

Bet business is not as profitable as it used to be some few years ago. It is still profitable but the margin is not as huge as it was before. So many people are cutting back on their betting habits.

Probably the business is no longer profitable to them and they need to invest in another different project which is why they had to transfer the business ownership to another person instead of closing it down completely.

If people are selling out their bet shops, it means that they are no longer profitable. I do not think there is any other explanation.

I think the business now is no longer very profitable as it used to be due to the raise in the taxes paid by the users
Speaking of taxes, some companies died naturally because it is too high that they can skyrocket their products' prices. I am sure that the local government around the globe are so pleased to impose this to different types of businesses,

It depends on individual factors. Some people are terrible managers. Some may decide to change due to other situational issues. I don't think is because of that bet shop is not profitable again. No matter how profitable some business are, some people will not find it easy.

One of the reasons someone sells a company is because he is too tired of taking risks so his enthusiasm is dropping, it's different when the company was first established, usually the owner of the company still has high enthusiasm. And he chose to sell his company to change to another business, not a few who chose to completely close their business.
