Business studies should be made compulsory right from secondary schools to tertiary institutions. This is necessary in that before graduations, students would have been equipped with different kinds of businessess they could start on their own from scratch without having to wait to be gainfully employed.
If this is implemented, the problem of unemployment would be reduced, likewise the rate of crime in the country. The economy of the country would be boosted as a result of increase in the gross domestic products. Many graduands would become job providers rather than job seekers.

In my country, it is part of the curriculum of some schools like junior and senior high schools. It is partly in some primary schools. I do think that it is a good thing for them to learn about business-related topics.

That's right I agree with you. Thus, the mindset of students who have just graduated from school will be motivated to build their own business. And there is no need to wait for someone to hire them, because now jobs are increasingly difficult and the unemployment rate is high.

You are right. In times like this, we need to have our own businesses. I personally think that this curriculum should not be limited with businesses courses only. It needs to be taught to some other academic courses as a basic subject.

It is not about making business studies compulsory. It is about providing vocational education that would build skills that would help people to do business. After all there are so many business admin graduates that haven't ran a shop before.

I agree with you in this though, school these days hardly teaches anything about the real world, hence most people come in the business world without having proper understanding of how the business world works.

The current Nigerian tertiary educational system teaches Entrepreneurship as a compulsory course for just one semester and they are very casual with it. I think it should be made to be practical based relative to your field of study.
