Why businesses are so hard to conduct nowadays?

There were so many people who sued to conduct business quite easily back then and i think that the main reason for this was the fact that inflation was quite low during those times. So, when it comes to conducting businesses, what are some of the main reasons why it is so hard to run the businesses now?

One of the main reasons why it is hard to do a business is because there is a lot of competition. There are numerous people doing the same business in the same location.

Personally speaking, the main reason why it is hard is because of the pandemic thing. It cannot be denied that many businesses closed during the peak season of this situation.

I think the main reason is the economic downturn because of the Pandemic. Some people have their pay cut or even loss their job. They tend to spend less on unnecessary items.
