Why do windows 10 laptops take a long time to start?

What could be the main reason why windows 10 laptops take a very long time to start, usually 3-4 minutes or more? In comparison, windows 7 computers will take less time to start up

At the store I learned that the amount of Ram your computer has affects it's performance.

I think it depends on your laptop. Laptops with higher specs like processors and ram usually power on faster than others all things considered equal.

Oh wow, am using a windows 10 laptop and mine usually boots within a minute or even less than a minute if am not mistaken. I have never experienced delayed booting.

Check in Task Manager what you have in Startup. OneDrive, Cortana, Viber, WhatsApp can eat a lot of resources. I have disable Cortana.

I don't know why. It happens to my system too. I think maybe because it is Windows 10. Or what do you feel?

It might be your RAM or your HD. It happens to me.

It is probably HDD. Windows 10 is optimizied from SSD drives. HDD is not recomended for it.

I never knew newer window systems would take longer time then older ones . Something new for me I guess. I use a window 8 and it does not take more than 3 mins to start up.

In my location now a lot of people prefer to use apple laptop to every other kind of laptop

It us very expensive but a lot of youths here have the money to buy it. All my friends are using Macbooks. We see it everywhere

This is very true that you just need to check your laptop optimization and if all the relevant apps are uoto date.Then yes it is true that the more you have more RAM then the faster the speed and nperformance of your site.Try ny all means to not use a simple busy for coding and gaming.Try alos not to create alot of folders on the homescreen because they do eat up space for your space and reduce the RAM.

I experience this too and sometimes it won't open at all then I try the other day and it opened but it is now slow and sometimes unresponsive

You find it hard to see other products here aside from happen because people have the money to buy it and they enjoy using Apple products

Yeah. That's what my brother told me too. It makes wonders having good amount of RAM.
