Why do you feel dogs are better pet than cats?

I don't have a pet but I feel dogs are better per than cats because they are more truthful and will help you when are in difficulty whereas as cats won't. What is your opinion?

I have a pet cat and his duty is to eat and eat hehehe. That is what I notice about my pet Moewie. He always likes to eat. He eats no other except first. I have pet dogs during college, the 4 of them died due to age. They are sweet and loyal and missed them all the time.

I am more of a dog person. I find that dogs are extremely loyal and offer unconditional love, which makes them great companions, especially when you are alone. While cats can also be equally loving, I have a special relationship with dogs.
