Thanks for the explanation, I didn't really know what it was, but I used it to connect a faucet to my trust wallet and metamask, it was really useful, I haven't used Walletconnect anymore so far.

The walletconnect does a very crucial job of connecting of the crypto wallet that doesn't support the dApp.
