Why would an entrepreneur register his business outside his country of origin?

It is imperative that every structured business organization should be registered with the government. But the common trend among business people is where a business is not registered in the country that the founder of the business is from.

I know of so many Nigerian businessses that are registered in Rwanda and other countries. For instance also, FTX is registered in Antigua and Barbuda and headquartered in the Bahamas. Binance is not regulated in China where the owner is from.

What could be responsible for this trend.

I do not really know much about this aspect, so I can't really say much, but i believe some companies do this simply because they want to get the benefits attached to companies registered in these countries.

The major thing that is considered to make decisions like this is the ease of operating from such countries. Factors like taxation are greatly taken into consideration when making decisions like this.

Some countries offer flexible and easy environment to register your business, and that is why those entrepreneurs register their businesses there. Some give good incentives to encourage localization of businesses in their country.

We also have many businesses which register outside Hong Kong. One of the main reasons is for taxation planning. Other reasons may be taking advantage of export quota of certain products.

Those countries that they register those businesses have some perks that are attractive to those business people. Most of the common perks are lowered taxation and favorable regulation. Others might be economic stability.

The most important thing when it comes to business is making profit and there is no law that says you have to register your business in your country of origin when you have a better chance of making more profit when you register the business and operating in another location.

Some companies do this if the process of registering there is very simple and easy. And again, if they want to get the benefits attached to companies registered in those countries.
