In my place, there are young people doing house-to-house to buy metal scrap, damaged appliances, slightly damaged refrigerators, washing machines, turbo, heaters, TV, and all that are no longer useful in a household. There are also buyers of empty bottles and damaged tires. I appreciate them because they are hard-working. I interviewed one where they sell those scraps. I have learned that there is a shop that buys scrap things. They earn thousands a month. They are able to pay their bills and buy new clothes and food.

There are many ways to survive. Buying and selling of scraps can help the person to raise money for family's need to have something on their plates. They can also save if they want to. No more pride just to swallow it or the family will starve. Also there are shops that buy scraps. Their purpose is to recycle them.

Also in my place, there is a big warehouse that housed scrap materials bought in retail by many retailers. There are workers employed by the business owner. Every week, they transport the scrap materials to other cities needing them for recycling.

It can be good job but it is also very dirty and can be dangerous. You must use protect glowes all time and mask since you work it garbage full of dirt.

I am still struggling to understand the concept of dirty jobs when it can provide food on the table. Scrap dealing is a good business and it is highly profitable in my country.
