Working for a big or small company.

Would you rather work for a big company or a small company? What are the pros and cons of each situation?

For me, I would love to work for a large company in certain fields, yet would rather work for a small company, if the smaller company had a better work environment, closer to home location, pay and benefits.

I guess the pro of working for a bigger company, is that you have better insurance options, and a higher likelyhood of the company not folding.

That's correct it really matters plus incentives during Christmas will be lucrative.

I do not mind working for a big or small company, the most important thing for me is that i am well paid and given all the benefits i deserve. There are some big companies who do not even know how to take care of their employees.

I don't really mind the kind of company that I would want to work with provided they're going to give me high pay.

I've worked for both big and small companies. There are pros and cons. Big companies offer better pay and benefits as well as career advancement. If you work for small companies, you have a chance to work in different functions and usually small companies are not that bureaucratic and have less office politics.

Since high salaries are associated with big companies, then I wouldn't hesitate to go with the big company.
