Would you startup a business with your partner?

I have come across most persons who are into one form of business with their wives or husbands, then there are some who love their partners but are not willing to startup a business with them for reasons best know to them. Would you startup a business with your partner?

In my view it's better to start business by your own, as I have seen many collapse business because of misunderstanding between the partners. So I have decided to do it alone, with my subordinates, but not partner.
