Yes, that's in our country and we also have an extended family culture. The children even at age 18 still depend on their parents.In my country, the legal age is 18 not to be taken care of by their biological parents. However, the love of parents cannot resist the urge to continue giving assistance to them, especially financially.

In our family, after a daughter or son graduated in college, that's the time they are free to do what they want. They're already having a job that time and can manage their earnings.Once the kid stand on his/her feet and is independent financially ,parents should stop taking care of a kid.
