When is best time to hold a meeting in a company?

I am pretty sure that it is not good to hold a meeting at siesta time (3:00 PM). It is obvious that most employees feel sleepy at this period of time. For me, it is best to have it in the morning.

A lot of my then employers knew this. meetings was always in the mornings because we enjoyed it better then

It depends on your working schedule, there are some companies that prefer holding their meetings early in the morning cause they feel the workers still has enough energy. While there are some who choose a separate day from work to set up their meeting.

Banks in my country hold meetings every morning from 7- 7:50. From there, they close the meeting and start operations by 8. They can't pause operations when customers are waiting to be attended to because of an afternoon meeting.

Banks are a different entity. Their business is different if we compare it with a manufacturing company

That's correct. I also prefer the time after noon but not all businesses can afford to do that so it'll be different for different companies

Any boss that fixes that kind of meeting is not a good boss. And also, any boss that fixes a meeting at the close of work when it is not an emergency is not a good boss.
