No one will ever come to a workplace that is dirty. And what is the picture of a dirty workplace? Well, disorderliness and untidiness of decision-making and behavior. This does not attract workers and clients having a disorderliness and untidiness of decision -making of the heads or top personnel. Their bad behaviors inhibit less creativity of the workers. They feel the discomfort, thus reducing the best output and productivity. On the hand, if the workplace is likewise dirty meaning not clean, it can also trigger bad allergies or sicknesses to the workers. Common colds, and diarrhea for example might spread and may contaminate. This will happen if the owner of the workplace lacks innovation and never care to promote cleanliness and this happens because the head or owner has also dirty behavior. How could the workers feel proud of their work? How could they maintain and manage a positive self-image and feel proud of their occupation?

A dirty workplace attracts no one, as people tend to stay or attracted to clean things and also nice smell, when when an organization is in a disorganized state it will even prevent partners from associating with them.

It is not a good thing for a company to hire people who do not know how to clean their workstation. They tend to rely to janitors or helpers. I cannot work with these people.

Dirty workplace can have many negative effects for me I feel very unmotivated when my workplace is dirty I clean it everytime I work it's very important to clean it I believe if you are not a dirty person it's not hard to clear your workplace

A dirty work place is a red flag for customers. If you can't take care of where you work on a daily basis, how am i sure you would be able to take care of my job properly?

There should also be a health inspector from the department of health and sanitation. They will also know about the dirty attitude of the business owner. The workers will be contaminated.

Although it depends if the worker is working in the field, which I experienced as a Community Facilitator. We maintain the cleanliness in the office, but we can be working in a messy place in the wilderness. That is a great part of working in the field.

@Shavkat agree with your point of view, no such office is dirty per se if there's a paid janitor. It's not good to see the workers clean the office by mopping the floor replacing the curtains and dusting the windows. That sounds ridiculous.

No one would enjoy working in a dirty workplace. A lot of companies here hire the service of cleaners to tidy up the office. I think it is also the responsibility of individual staff member to clean up his/her own workstation and keep the office clean at all times.

Dirty work place affects the personality of the workers. It must be an automatic knowledge to clean their areas of concern to have a clean and safe workplace despite having an office janitor.

I wouldn't even go to a dirty environment to buy things. Dirty workplace would not attract workers, customers and clients . They will always feel the discomfort even from afar. Managers should know

If you have a dirty working environment, it is most likely going to chase all of your customers away because for me personally, if I come to anyone workplace that is dirty for me to do any kind of transaction, I will definitely leave.

That's right, it's an additional work but we can clean only our own table or space. My boss doesn't like dirty office. She initiates the cleaning so the subordinates are also encouraged to tidy their own space.

There's no two ways about this. Keep your work or business environment clean or else you lose all the customers or clients you would have had it is that simple

A dirty environment is dispisable in the eyes of the people, especially to the customers. They will not come back once see the business area dirty so with the behavior of the owner is dirty.

I think she is a good boss then. Prior to my teaching online, I used to work in one of the local government agencies. I resigned because I cannot bear dealing with our incompetent project manager.
