How lucrative is selling household utensils in your country

I know that people are always looking to buy household utensils for their home. is this kind of business lucrative in your country? can one easily start it too?

I have a relative who wanted to go into this business some time back, i think what stopped her back then was the money. Selling hospital equipments is pretty lucrative, especially if you are a wholesaler or have a contract of supplying to various hospitals. But you need a lot of capital to startup cause these equipment are pretty expensive.

Nothing stops one from starting a business like capital especially if it would be a capital intensive business more money will be needed.

This business would have been more profitable if not for the fact that it have now been populated, a lot of people are now selling this even though the start up capital is a bit much but if you can take your business to another level by adding some other services like household cleaning then you should be able to maximize your profit.

It's a good way to make money and you need to deliver online and have some pretty Sales Girls so you will have more customers lurking all the time LOL just kidding but yes this does help a lot if you have smart staff operating

It's not much of a profitable business nowadays because many people are now in this business. But still, people who are into selling household utensils do good in terms of earnings. There are many shops of the same nearby my house and they all do fine.

It does help and if they are having attractive personality then you will naturally see more customers and that's why some of the or at least the majority is doing in the market which is nearby my place

I noticed this more with restaurants and eateries. They recruit pretty girls for their businesses and it does works

That is right, there are so many stores and malls that sell kitchen utensils with good designs but people prioritize buying the most essential ones. In this trying time, we only buy what is affordable and necessary. When there is a party, we buy disposable to save water and everything. Better disposable utensils to sell. I do not see the relevance of this business now. As most people don't buy more utensils they cannot use. Maybe the rich ones can buy more than what they need. The less fortunate ones can use their hands to eat. Others cook in an old cookware.

I support your contention, yrs only a very few people buy utensils this time for they last for a lifetime unless thrown or replaced them with good designs, But in this pandemic, we have to save money and buy only what is essential.
