Yes it is possible to earn from freebitco.in. But did friend told you how long it had took him to earn his tangible earnings. And was your only earning claiming faucets at interval or he was doing other games in the site?.@Sanjee , My friends texted me this day, their salaries were released and there were many of them falling in line in the ATM to withdraw.
I stopped claiming satoshi here because it is too small and the interval claim is one hour. I don't have that patient to wait. I always forget to open the site to claim.
I have heard it is a slow paying website so I did not dare to join. Plus, I do not have a bitcoin wallet to claim the payment.

Sites like freebitco can be legit but the main issue with such kind of sites is that the pay rates are really low and this makes it very hard for people to make money on such kind of sites.
No matter how long or legitimate freebitco.in is, I won't participate in it. It was when I was looking to earn money online as a newbie I took part in the site. In fact, I still have some Satoshis in my account there which I have forsaken.
