You need just a little under $40 to start a forum (domain and hosting). If you want to use a premium script, you will have to spend at least $160 for a license. If your forum is paid to post forum, you might need at least $500 funds to pay for the posters before your site starts earning.

Yeah starting out might need about $2500 and it may even be more than depending on how you want to run it but know that profit or revenue takes time.

I feel the more the better because you cannot expect bigger revenue in the initial stages and need to stay patient about it

Everything still tells on money. Anyone who does not have a substantial amount of money cannot own a forum
