We know for a fact that one of the major aim of every business owner is to create not just profits but also customer satisfaction. While this is an important factor, the satisfaction of your employees are also very important, who do you think should be held responsible for the satisfaction of the employees, the manager or the business owner?

The business owner expects his or her people to come up with strategy to boost employee engagements. The manager can hire engagement specialist to come up with ideas within the organization for the employees to enjoy. Not only enjoy but to be satisfied during their stay in the company.

Employees are not difficult to please. Most will enjoy anything that will increase their satisfaction and enjoyment.

The owner is responsible for making sure that he or she has the funds to execute the plans of the manager or the Employee Engagement Team.

I think both the owner and the manager have the responsibility of keeping the employees satisfied by offering a competitive compensation package and fringe benefits, a good working environment, and prospects of career advancement.

I have question, is it the employees' privilege to receive rewards and recognition?
Imposing rewards and recognition are added tool to hype up the employees' satisfaction but not their privilege. Owners and managers can remove it for time being. Will he or she be satisfied without these? If they are used to it. I don't think so. We can reward them for what they do for the business but we should not include this in their compensation package.
As long as employees are aware of this set up, they will still enjoy their basic package.

Let's take RIF for an example, we are given rewards for a certain weeks or month, but not all the time the owner can do it to satisfy us. At the end of the day, our posting and contribution will still earn us money.

Happy and satisfied employees are productive workers. Management must develop a personnel enrichment program that would boost employees morale and self esteem to make them satisfied workers.

In my view company's owner is main responsible person for employee satisfaction because manager is also a employee of the main owner he can paise their workers but can't give any incentive from his side.

Which means the manger or director has no say unless does are the top gives him or her permission to take actions that would produce satisfaction amongst workers right?

It could be two ways. It could be from the manager in the sense that he/ she studs benefits from trickling down the hierarchy. The majority of the blame would be on the owner though.
