There are occasions though that expats may be hired for some special skills required by the company but in most cases these are temporary in nature and they are hired on a per project base.

Yes, some companies hire expats for specialized skills and their global perspective where the company can benefit from their diverse experience and in terms of international business context. Expats can also align with the culture of the parent organisation like for example the company in our town have Japanese expats and they bring with them the Japanese work culture.

exactly japnese culture is the one of the best they are productive and they are really making a difference in the world with their efforts and dedication each day .
True Japanese work attitude is exemplary. Our company used to manufacture garments for JC Penney,one of the popular stores in the USA, of which the technical person who serve as conduit between us and the store was a Japanese. This Japanese guy is very meticulous and you can see how focused is he on the job especially checking items carefully.

I just feel sad on reports that some giant companies based in USA are employing local talents in China and exposing them to work hazards. They employ young people from the provinces and giving them living quarters not fit for humans.

yes every country does this if they have money they exploit people from cheaper living cost countries it is such an unfair and cruel practice to be honest actually indeed .
That is true and take note that these companies are known brands globally. One buyer of ours in the garment industry stopped giving us orders because they transferred to Bangladesh due to high cost of labor in my country.

What you say is very true, apart from that, employing local talent will also make the company's existence respected by the community. Because there is a mutually beneficial relationship between the community and the company.

That is correct, remember that the. officials of the host community will always have the say in regulating companies and Businesses within their area of jurisdiction, so it is better that's this company will always localized their workers.

It depends on area of specialization. In some field, it may be difficult to find local talents that have required skills to fit in. The only advantage of engaging local talents is that their service may be cheap and affordable. Apart from that, i don't see any other benefit.

One major advantage of employing local talent is that they would be able to easily reach out to the community. The community would also be able to easily trust your company and brand without worry cause they have their person working for you.
