A Planner's duties

The Planner of a Company holds an important job of alerting Management on the pros and cons of running its business in a particular way.

The Planner helps in budgeting, in introducing new products, in creating an employee structure which is about who reports to whom and so on.

The Planner is independent and only reports to the top. A Planner is indispensable to a Company.

Were you aware that a Company cannot survive without a Planner?

As far as I know planner or planning is a responsibility in a company and not a position in a company

In my previous companies, we need to be a planner, especially when working in a local government agency. Although we have planners in the headquarter, but it is just limited its function in the office-based and not in the field of work.

I workd for a multi national and there was a planner who was all important.

What was your designation? Were you called planner? I think manager is a more common word used used for someone involved in planning.

I was handling a bit of administration and no I was not a planner The Planner was highly qualified and had access to every Department with the right to have his say.

I am aware that a company cannot survive without a planner. A planner ensures that a business succeeds. A planner is involved in developing and implementing business strategies. A planner also conducts market research and analyze industry trends.

Though most companies do not have a specific position for a planner, in most cases it is usually the manager who does the planning, but that by the said,every business needs to properly plan before taking action.
