A teak wood tree will fully mature in about 10 - 25 yeait is a good and remunerative investment. A single tree that has a maturity of 10 years can fetch a value of around 175 dollars a cubic foot and the value goes up as it matures.

Once planted a teak wood tree hardly requires any maintenance. In the initial stages it needs to be watered and later it grows on its own.

Growing trees can be a good investment provided you have your own land to grow tree. Instead of timber, I think fruit trees are more profitable

Fruit trees no doubt bring in passive income but teak is very expensive and with time they can make a person a millionnaire .

In my country, even though we have large areas of land and planting teak wood trees, we must obtain permission or be registered with the forestry office. So even though it is profitable, the process is often complicated.

We have that rule for sandal wood trees. The government does not allow any one to plant sandal wood trees here.

Growing not just teak trees even other trees can be a good investment provided you have your own land to grow tree. you cut them down when due to make money
