There are so many youth That may not realize that there are diverse career opportunities in the agricultural sector and agribusiness.

In my humble opinion, there is a wrong notion that farming is solely associated with manual labor and also with a very low income as well.

The lack of land for farming as made many young farmers to find farming very unattractive and it's a significant barrier.

It's not secret that farming requires resilience and dedication if you want to achieve success in it and that is what most of the youth do not have .
Managing a farm is not easy Apart from getting the right kind of helpers it also needs supervision and that can only happen if they have interest in this kind of business.
People in my country regard farming as a profession for the dirty people. That's the sole reason why you don't see the youths in my country take up farming. And we are suffering from food scarcity.
Calling anyone dirty is not in keeping with the ethics of any organization. It is the mindset of the youth, sadly.
Yes, that could be a reason. In addition, farmers are not always paid well, which leads them to consider taking on a regular 9-5 job instead.
Can't they farm in the village to make the money and travel to town to spend it? What is the essence of staying in a town with no money in pocket?
The Gen Z see farming work as very dirty and not reflecting of their social media age.
