I am not sure of other countries but in India not many people learn swimming.

I do know how to swim but many peaple don't and I don't really blame them i do not really had the oppotunity to learn how to I lived far away from beach

Yes, I am pretty good at swimming. I learned how to swim when I was about 10. And in college, we also had to take a course in swimming.

I don't know how to swim, I have only used a life jacket once to learn and that's pretty much it.

i am afraid of water so i don't go near them apart from when they are in a cup or bottle
i have heard many news of water incident so i try my best to avoid them

I did learn swimming becoming a member of a Swimming Pool Club. I got choked one day and then gave up

Swimming is one of my favorite activity. I took some lessons and spent countless hours in pools and lakes practicing different strokes. Nowadays, I try to go for a swim as often as I can..

I currently do not know how to swim, but I am open to learning. Maybe when I go back home, I will find the time to enroll in swimming lessons. Unfortunately, there are no swimming lessons available here in the province, so I can't do it right away.

Since I am living in the mountain, it is unlikely that we can swim. Although I learned how but not as a pro. It happened that I learn the skills when visiting my grandma in the country. My cousins taught us how to do it.
